I just read last week that the worse place to put your subject is smack dab dead center. It makes me smile when I hear rules like that, so much so that I go looking for ways to disprove them.
I shot this image pretty much instinctively as I saw the T6 lining up to make a pass with the smoke on. For me it just works. Given the chance to take this image again I’d do it the exact same way. It’s simple, clean and strong.
Go out and experiment and don’t allow yourself to be constrained by the rules, pixels are cheap now days.
