Dirt Road

The Montana weather has finally appeared, the temperature dropped and there is a fresh coating of snow covering the ground.

This is a photograph of the road leading into my grandparents ranch.  With the overcast sky and snow, this scene is monochromatic and I immediately knew I would convert this to a B&W image.  As I was working this I had one of those ‘what if’ thoughts as to what this would look like in infrared B&W.  I ran the Nik Infrared filter on it and liked it.
