Back Home

I could stand on this hilltop for days and never grow tired of this view.  It brings back memories and triggers emotions as this photograph is taken from my grandparents ranch.  I’ve photographed this mountain range many time and will continue to do so because this location tugs on my ‘heart strings’ and that’s what photography is all about.

As I enjoyed the moment in this special spot, I remember the special people in my life who are no longer with me and that made me who I am.  Just out of view in the foreground is a family cemetery  where my parents, brother, grandparents, uncles and other family members are buried.

It was great coming home and visiting my special spot.
