Our last outing with the DLWS group was to a covered bridge with some great fall color. The bridge was somewhat side lit making the exposure range too large for a single exposure to capture all the detail, so I decided to bracket the exposure +/- 2 stops. With 5 images containing the information from the shadows to the highlights, I was able to use Photomatix Pro to merge them together into a single HDR image. With just a couple of adjustments in CS5 ACR, the image was finished. It was a perfect location to end the workshop with.
It was great time in New Hampshire and defiantly a place I’d like to revisit.
