Working the Ground

I took a little side trip away from the city to see the rural side of India.  I didn’t have to go far before the land along the highway opened up and showed the hard work of local famers.

Although I did see a few tractors, I saw far more plows and carts being pulled by livestock.  A common scene here but a sight that many westerners have probably never witnessed.
