Starry Night

I got to do something last night that I’ve wanted to try for a long time – star trails.

I’m in the Moab area of Utah and the clear dark sky here is just killer for doing star trails.  It takes some trail and error to get one to work but with some coaching from my good friend Moose Peterson I was off and running.

I think I’ve learned a lot from last nights attempt so I’m eagerly awaiting for the sun to go down so I can give it another try ….. I’ve got lots of ideas!
