I’m a little behind on getting some printing out, so today I’m chained to my computer desk in the digital darkroom.
I’ve had a number of printing questions lately mostly centered around what equipment, or specifically, what printer do I use. That’s an easy one to answer since I do everything on an Epson 7900 wide-format inkjet printer. It will print any size up to 24 inches wide which is just right for the majority of the prints that I make. It uses the new Epson UltraChrome HDR ink set which produces absolutely stunning prints.
Moose Peterson’s Digital Landscape Workshop Series (DLWS) is a great starting place for folks who want some hands on instruction starting with image capture, working the image in the digital darkroom, through prepping it for output printing.
