I had the opportunity of stepping out of my normal photography comfort zone of photographing landscapes and critters to do some environmental portraits.
This location was in the old New Mexico penitentiary which was closed down in the ’80s. The moody light that dances around the walls and floors of the abandoned building is indescribable. This image was made with a single SB-900 Nikon flash diffused through an Lastolite EZYbox.
