Our last day in New Hampshire we had some normal fall weather including rain and overcast skies. Although that type of weather could be a deterrent for some we headed over to the The Flume Gore were the conditions were nothing less than perfect.

It’s hard to top the drama that fog can bring to a landscape. It’s very dynamic, ever changing and can be gone in a matter of seconds. We happened upon this as we were heading out to the coast, pulled into a restaurant parking lot and watched the magic unfold.

Although the peak color has past the sights of the New Hampshire still have a lot to offer photographically. There is still color, patterns and textures all around as found at this over look just off the highway.

Standing on the coastline on Maine watching the sun rise is a fabulous way to start the day. This is a view looking south from the Pemaquid Point Lighthouse.
