  This is a ground to air shot where all the elements worked together; great sky and colors. It’s fun and challenging to photograph flying aircraft that convey movement.  I use shutter priority mode to control the shutter speed so the propeller is blurred and not stopped, along with panning as the aircraft passes by to get a sharp image. Ramp

    The nice thing about winter is that you don’t have to be up  real early to get a sunrise shot. This is the newest addition to the Textron Aviation Flying Club’s fleet, a Cessna 182T Skylane.  Just a simple shot using a single Profoto B1 to light the airplane.  A grid was used to keep the light from spilling onto the ramp.
